Critical Statistics

The Need in Pakistan

According to WHO's 2019 statistics, approximately 5 to 10 million people are affected with hepatitis B and C respectively in Pakistan.
Latest figures show over 19 million people now living with diabetes in Pakistan as the numbers continue to rise (International Diabetes Federation, 2020).
The Nation reported on August 11, 2021 that 7.5 million Pakistani adults and 1.5 million children suffer from asthma and last year around 260,000 people died due to it.
Our Mission

Making Healthcare Accessible

Due to these alarming numbers, MAWF has chosen to treat HCV, HBV, diabetic and asthmatic patients free of charge. Since it takes around Rs. 200,000 to cure these diseases, HBV patient has to bear around Rs. 400,000 and each diabetic patient has to bear a high cost for insulin.

MAWF wishes to serve humanity by making things easily accessible for our patients. Our commitment is to ensure no one is denied healthcare due to financial constraints.

"Healthcare is a right, not a privilege. We're committed to

making it accessible to all."
