Diamond Paints’ Long-Term Social Commitment Through MAWF

Ramadan is a time when compassion, responsibility, and care for others come into sharper focus. Yet meaningful social impact is not built in a single season. It is built through consistency, ownership, and long-term service. That is what makes Diamond Paints stand out through the Mir Allaudin Welfare Foundation (MAWF), an NGO solely funded and managed by the company. Importantly, the foundation does not receive donations from the public.

According to the company’s official MAWF page, the foundation was launched in 2013 with the intention of providing charity and welfare to people who are unable to afford medical care. Since then, it has been running a dispensary to support underprivileged communities by providing essential medical facilities and accessible healthcare regardless of economic circumstances.

The scale of this effort reflects its long-term impact. Since inception, MAWF has treated 404,644 patients. From 2023 till date, the foundation has treated 74,018 general patients, 3,787 asthma patients, 51,993 diabetic patients, and 11,760 hepatitis patients. These figures show that this is not a symbolic CSR exercise, but a structured and sustained welfare effort delivering meaningful healthcare support over time.

The foundation focuses on key healthcare areas including hepatitis B and C, diabetic care, asthma treatment, and general healthcare. These are conditions that often place a serious financial burden on low-income families, especially when treatment requires regular medicine, monitoring, and long-term support. The official MAWF page states that it provides free treatment for HCV, HBV, diabetic, and asthmatic patients and is committed to ensuring that no one is denied healthcare due to financial constraints.

During Ramadan, that commitment feels especially relevant. But the true value of Diamond Paints social commitment lies in the fact that it continues far beyond the season itself, creating lasting community impact through accessible healthcare and long-term welfare support.
